If you read our latest newsletter you'll know that we have recently completed a full house refurb for a property near Chew Magna, Dewdown Lodge.

We were contracted by the sustainable construction and design company, Greenheart Sustainable Construction, to assist them in converting a 2 bed bungalow to a 4 bed eco-home. The residents in the property were keen to create a sustainable living environment by turning their 60s home into a modern, highly efficient home.

Gav and AJ were working on this project on/off over a 9 month period. They installed underfloor heating, air source heat pumps and remodelled 3 luxury bathrooms.

Heat pumps are very topical at the moment. A heat pump is a renewable form of heating a home as it sources available heat from the ground, or air surrounding the property, and increases it to the desired temperature for the property to use.  This greener, more efficient alternative to the traditional boiler uses cleaner electricity, so reducing your carbon footprint. We installed a Vaillant air source heat pump at this property.
