We like to spread happy news when we can! Our very own Steve 'Sarge' Ponting was voted Firefighter of the Year by the guys at Tetbury Fire Station for his services as a Retained Firefighter.  

He's been an on duty Retained Firefighter for nearly 7 years now and as much as he'd hate this, we think these sorts of awards deserve a mention because working hard in full time employment and in a retained post for the community is something to be proud of.
